I spent the last weekend in San Diego where the weather was warm and sunny. Ahh...Daygo!
The Mexican food in San Diego is da bomb. It's straight from the border and made for other Mexicans. Not like the Mexican food in San Francisco where it's made for the melting pot of of people who live here. I mean, it's the same ingredients, they may have added in an organic onion or tomato or something, but it's still carne, beans, and tortilla.
The latest thing is the California Burrito. I had one in San Diego at Lolita's and I had one at Nick's Crispy Tacos in the Sunset. I liked them both.
