Human Resources

This past week I had a run in with my boss. He freaked out on me to the point I had to contact our human resources department to report a hostile work environment. I'll spare you all the details (as much as I'd like to post the email I sent to our VP of HR, my better/professional judgment is telling me not to). If you're really interested, let me know and maybe I'll forward it to you for reference.

I'm glad it's all over, at least for now. The options I gave to my job were basically: 1.) Create a new position for me; 2.) Transfer me to another branch; or 3.) Peace out and have a nice life. I guess they value me b/c they're going to work towards the first option, which, in all honesty, is pretty damn nice of them. Jeah.

SO, this San Francisco suburbanite may soon have a new position within his organization. No word yet if I get any more money, but as long as I'm under a different supervisor I'll be happy. It's been a long six years I've been under his direction. It'll be nice to get away and try to pave a path on my own that doesn't credit another for my accomplishments.

2010, as the cliche goes, is "full of big changes."
