(Wrote this yesterday, barley getting to posting it today.)
I'm not really feeling the fulfillment at work so I'm starting to work with others in initiating a new band. Who knows what it will be called, but I do know that the idea of playing music again is enough to keep me motivated to breathe.
As of right now, I'm demoing tracks on garage band and sending them to my potential bandmates. It's gone well so far, and we were even lucky enough to record something for free. Here's to hoping it develops into a legitimate band/project.
I'm typing this on my iPhone waiting in parking lot of the Alemany Farmer's Market. Diego is asleep in the car so I'm standing watch while Eve and Paulo shop for fruits and vegetables. They like spending time together and I like to write, so it all works out perfectly, I think.
I need to be engaged with creativity. I'm not sure if that's who I am or if it's just a symptom of too much monotony. Not that routine is all that bad, it's just very predictable.
