Sprained Ankle (Like father, like son)

Paulo sprained his ankle today while I was at an afternoon band practice. He was going down the slide with his mom and his right foot got caught on the side.

My wife called me four times (I was practicing w/the band so I didn't hear my phone!) and said she was going to take an ambulance to the hospital. When I heard that, I hauled ass over there in my new Scion and picked them up on 4th and Howard. I immediately hugged him, took off his crocs, and started rubbing his feet; asking him questions like, "Where does it hurt?" and "How did you get hurt?"

He eventually calmed down when I sat in the backseat and played with him. He didn't need to go to the hospital, but it was a serious sprain. I hear they call them fractures. Naw...j/k. It was a sprain, just like his old man used to get.

SO, he's R.I.C.E.ing it and trying to keep it immobile. I think he'll be fine.
